At the Smile Atelier, we genuinely look forward to each day, greeting our regular patients, and meeting our new ones. Each member of our team goes the extra mile to create a warm, friendly, comfortable atmosphere in our office. We love seeing our patients react on their first visit, as they begin to see the difference our special care makes. We treat everyone the way we would our own families, and we are proud of the quality of treatment that our patients receive.

New Patient Information

Your First Visit

At our reception area, we will help you take care of any paperwork that could not be completed earlier. If you have insurance, our front desk staff will verify your coverage. You will first see our hygienist who will take x-rays and photos of your teeth, and assess the condition of your gums. These are all important tools in diagnosing your oral health condition. Dr. Ramdath will then come in for your comprehensive exam and oral cancer screening. She will talk with you to find out what concerns you have, your goals, and help you come up with a plan to achieve your best smile. Dr. Ramdath is a warm and caring person who is genuinely interested in her patients and wants each one to feel at ease while in our care. Depending on your individual situation, you may come back for another visit to have your teeth cleaned and to review the treatment plan Dr. Ramdath will have prepared for you. Very often, we can do everything in one visit. If you don’t need additional treatment, we will schedule your routine checkup and cleaning.

Patient Comfort

We go above and beyond to make sure you feel relaxed. We offer you a soft blanket to stay warm and provide pillows to avoid any neck, back or leg strain. You can choose what music you want to hear while you are in the treatment room, and we have snacks and water available on request. If you don’t see what you need, just ask us! We are happy to do anything that would make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable.

Insurance

We participate in most major PPO plans and offer payment plans for patients paying out of pocket. Insurance plans vary greatly in their coverage so the best way to find out if we are a participating provider in your network is to call us. Even if we are not in your network many insurances offer great out-of-network benefits! Our front desk staff has been extensively trained and is very experienced in handling insurance and helping you understand your payment options, so please do not hesitate to call us! We want you to get the dental care you need, and we will work with you to make sure that happens.

Payment Options

We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and CareCredit.

When you have an appointment with us we reserve that time especially for you, so that you get the care and attention you deserve. If you are unable to keep your appointment we kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice so that we may accommodate someone else who needs care. A Broken Appointment Fee may apply for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
